Cold Contouring

• What is Cold Contouring? Cold Contouring utilizes cryolipolysis (fat freezing) to non-invasively reduce fat deposits, particularly effective for abdomen, side flanks, and thighs.
• Areas Targeted: Abdomen, upper and lower back, side flanks, thighs, chin, and back.

  • Preparing for Your Session: Upon arrival for your first Cold Contouring session, our skilled technician will conduct a personalized assessment to understand your specific needs and body aspirations. This may involve marking the target areas for the application of the contouring "paddles" to ensure the treatment aligns with your goals.
  • Getting Settled: You will be provided with a robe to change into for your comfort during the treatment. Typically, you'll keep your undergarments on. Once you're ready, you'll relax on our treatment chair, which can be heated for additional comfort, as we prepare your skin for the cold contouring process.
  • Protecting Your Skin: To safeguard your skin against the cold temperatures and enhance the treatment's efficacy, a cloth soaked in a specially formulated gel will be applied to the targeted areas. This step ensures a protective barrier between your skin and the paddles.
  • The Treatment Process:
    • The contouring paddles will be positioned on the marked areas as discussed during your assessment.
    • When activated, the paddles create a gentle "vacuum" effect, drawing the fatty tissue into contact with the cooling element. Initially set to a lower intensity (levels 1-3, based on your initial comfort)
    • The device cools the treatment area to approximately -5°C | 23°F, leading to a sensation of numbness in the treated zone.
    • Once started, the total time this will take is 45 minutes.
  • Adjusting the Intensity: As the treatment progresses and the area becomes numb, you may find you're comfortable with a higher level of suction. We encourage you to communicate with your technician, who can adjust the machine's intensity up to level 5, ensuring the treatment is both effective and comfortable for you.
    
    The entire process is designed to be as comfortable as possible, allowing you to relax while the machine contours your body.  This comprehensive approach to your first Cold Contouring session ensures a tailored treatment plan that meets your body contouring goals, all while prioritizing your comfort and safety.
• Expected Results: Some clients report seeing results after 2 to 4 sessions, especially effective for fat reduction in targeted areas.  Cold Contouring can remove up to 25% of subcutaneous fat Subcutaneous fat is the fat that is stored just below the skin. It is the deepest layer of the skin, and is made up of a layer of pinchable fat.  Cold Contouring does not affect the deeper "visceral" fat.  For visceral fat, please consider EMS Neo, which has been found to have a profound effect on visceral fat.

    • This part of the process will take about 1hr 10min
    • Following this, a technician will remove the paddles and apply acoustic wave therapy to the treated area for 5 to 15 minutes, depending on your needs
